You aren't what you eat; you are what you absorb.

Biological Value (BV) is the measure of how efficiently the body can utilize a protein source. The Gold Standard is the Whole Egg (BV 100). Fresh, Raw Meat is BV 90+. Standard Kibble Meal is BV 75.

If your food has low bioavailability, your dog's system must work twice as hard to extract half the nutrients. The "waste" in your yard is the physical manifestation of low absorption.
